Adriano Colasanti’s journey began long before Silio Frameworks. As a young man, he worked on Lambrettas and cars in Rome (Italy), developing an early familiarity with mechanics, metal and precision.
He studied Architecture and Structural Engineering, where drawing, geometry and calculation became part of the way he approached every project.
The turning point came when he realised that steel could replace paper, and the surface plate could become a new kind of drawing board.
From that moment, framebuilding became the natural meeting point between design, mechanics and craftsmanship.
Today, every Silio frame is shaped by this background: technical knowledge, hands-on experience and a lifelong passion for bicycles.
